writing workshops
These somatics-infused creative writing workshops ignite imagination and inspire the generation of new works. You can expect to be in good company and experience brief meditations and grounding practices, prompts that engage your full humanity, and opportunities to share and grow. All are welcome, with some participants being brand new to creative writing while others have already authored books. These are not traditional critique-oriented workshops, they are creative communal experiences.

Process
Creative writing containers designed to generate flow and inspiration
Jump-start and support your personal creative practice with these generative Zoom sessions, designed to foster imaginative and somatic exploration. Whether you participate in early morning Make Time sessions, or other seasonal offerings, these workshops are not actually "workshops" in the traditional sense. Focused on process and exploration, more than a particular product, these are spaces to re-center and re-ignite your creative practice. (And yes, you will leave having written things you're proud of!)
Produce
Writing workshops with the purpose of completing a creative project or collection
In this range of workshops, participants gather via Zoom, in good company, to support small and large writing projects. Whether a DocuPoetry project, 40 Days of creating a long poem or poem series, or a Solar Year for making substantial progress on a book, these workshops help you clarify your vision for a meaningful writing project. And, a range of generative practices and loose structures of accountability help you find and maintain flow to produce the work you desire. Make space for the project you've been putting aside for too long, or haven't yet allowed yourself to uncover!

Seasonal Resets
Seasonal Resets offer you a part-DIY, part-facilitated personal retreat — whether you choose to just attend the 90-minute seasonal gathering, or set aside a half or full day, or even a full weekend, with the intention of resting, reflecting, and visioning. These resets are maximally nourishing, accessible offerings for artists, writers, scholars, teachers, activists, and anyone else craving a pause to re-center themselves and their creative practices, knowing that nurturing your creativity extends outwards towards community as well.
An introductory email provides suggestions for extending into a mini-DIY-at-home retreat. The collective Zoom offers guided space to ground, center, vision, explore, and reflect, leaving participants feeling refreshed and renewed, and re-inspired on your paths.
